I'm a Spanish professor who took a two week course at IMSOL as part of my sabbatical. Although the original Curso de Formación de Profesores course wasn't available, I was very happy with the alternatives provided. I had C2 group grammar & culture classes with Roberto & private methodology & sociocultural classes with Juan Luis. Both teachers were outstanding. Roberto is a gifted teacher who knows how to connect on a personal level with each student. He's always enthusiastic, well prepared, punctual & designs lessons to include themes around art, arquitecture, music, pop culture, etc. There was always laughter in his classroom, which is a testament to him creating a positive & supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, making mistakes & asking questions. My private classes with Juan Luis were incredibly helpful. He personalized each lesson to cover historical & contemporary topics that I wanted to explore for my sabbatical project (immigration, administrative law in autonomous communities, lenguas cooficiales etc.) He also provided a plethora of technology & teaching resources for teachers of Spanish as a second language. He also went above & beyond & set me up with an interview I wanted for my project. I've been teaching for over 22 years (16 at the collegiate level), so I've observed many educators over the years. I was very impressed with the quality of instruction at IMSOL. They support students in & out of the classroom by offering tutorials, films, field trips etc. The students are a fun, diverse group of different ages & ethnicities. The front office communicates well & seems eager to meet student goals. I highly recommend IMSOL for Spanish students (and teachers!) at any level. I hope to send my students abroad to study here in the future.

After 2 weeks at Imsol it´s much easier to speak and think Spanish. The teacher I had in the lessons at day was really, really good! Even though she didn´t speak so much English she understood and was able to explain everything that I asked about. The activities was also interesting and fun to participate in. Really a good school with professional teachers and excellent service!

I would like to share my positive experience about IMSOL Granada. Before to start my course with them my level of Spanish was C1 and after two week of intensive classes I got the knowledge to pass the exam C2 of Spanish. Thank you for your professionalism and your dedication. ¡Hasta pronto!

I am an older student and have attended a number of Spanish language schools in Spain during the past several years. I spent 2 weeks at IMSOL in an advanced class in June. I really liked the school. The teachers were great, the school had plenty of after hours activities, and I could tell the administration was working really hard to provide a first rate experience. Plus- Granada is a fabulous place to study. Its big enough to provide a variety of experiences outside the classroom, small enough to be entirely walk-able, and has a large population of University students. If you are considering studying in Granada check out IMSOL- I highly recommend it.

Estudié en INMSOL durante 3 semanas. Fue una experiencia muy interesante. Me gustó todo: los profesores, las clases, los talleres. Todo fue organizado muy bien. La secretaria Rocío siempre aydaba con cualquier tipo de preguntas y por eso no me sentía incomoda. Las clases fueron divertidas y interesantes y, además, muy utiles, también conocí un poco la cultura española. El profesor Juan Luis nos contaba sobre la cultura, recomendaba los eventos en Granada, las películas. Los talleres también fueron muy utiles.
