The first thing that one must say is that everyone working at CastiLa is truly the best and most likeable sort of person. Secondly, I must say that their method of using several professors is brilliant. You will learn quickly all of the difficult verbs. Professors will use humor and various activities to make learning fun.
I took ten weeks of classes at CastiLa this winter, starting from a beginner. I greatly enjoyed the excellent instruction from all the teachers. Daily classes were always fun and high energy. Plus, the location of the school can’t be beat. I loved exploring the Albaicin and central Granada in the afternoons after class.There are endless beautiful streets to explore throughout town. Overall, my experience with Castila was outstanding and well-rounded: After 2.5 months of study, not only do I have a solid base of Spanish, but also a much better grasp of Spain’s rich history and culture.
The school is very beautiful, in a quiet and charming historical district. The teachers are very good and friendly. Definitely worth it!
¡By far the BEST Spanish language school in Granada! I've been participating in classes with Castila on and off since 10/2015 (and initially attended two other schools in Granada for comparison). The owners and professors at Castila have become my second family. They are the most dedicated to their craft and care tremendously about the progress and development of their students. They create an environment that is not just classroom based but a full cultural emersion. I have achieved one of my life goals of speaking Spanish fluently, thanks in large part to Castila. If there was such a thing as 6 stars, they would deserve it!
I took three weeks of Spanish classes at the B1 and B2 levels. The professors were super flexible about creating a schedule that worked for me, making sure I got a good experience and good value for the fee. I enjoyed their approach to learning Spanish, especially the grammar, which can be a bit dry but they brought life to so many nuances of the language. Each professor has a different style, which I really liked. It never got dull! I highly recommend CastiLa for all levels. If I’m in Granada again I’ll surely take more refresher classes.
