My sister and I were having personal classes with Natalia. Had 10-15 classes I think, out of them 3 had scheduling issues. One time the teacher had an emergency so the administration didn’t notify us so we just came to the school for nothing. Another time we couldn’t start on time because there was scheduling conflicts with another class so we started half an hour late. So the 30 minutes would be transferred to the following class. The next time that we came Natalia was not there, we waited for 15 minutes and left. As the administration wasn’t at the desk we wrote an email asking for a refund and nothing happened whereas now.
I studied here for six months but as it's a very traditional language teaching approach which relies heavily on teacher lectures, book work and worksheets, I did not particularly enjoy myself. I do have colleagues that enjoyed their time here, but it seems it's quite dependent on what teacher you have as they seem to have flexibility in their individual teaching styles and approaches.
I knew 0 spanish and now I am able to have a basic conversation with people, my friends and colleagues. I would recommend this place, teachers are friendly and happy to help you. Muchas gracias !¡ 📝✨
I bought a three-month course and attended the first two lessons. Then, due to a serious personal situation, I had to leave Barcelona (at first, I thought it would only be a few days, a week at most, but it dragged on), so I didn't take any more lessons. About a month later, because I simply hadn't had the time earlier, I wrote to the school's email saying I could no longer attend lessons for personal reasons and asked for a refund of half of the amount I had paid. It seemed fair, we still had more than half the course left, and I definitely wouldn't be taking any more lessons. Unfortunately, I received a response saying I hadn't given them advance notice that I wouldn't be attending, which I would have understood at the time if I had wanted a 100% refund, but I didn't. Although I personally only took TWO lessons, I asked for a 50% refund. They offered me a voucher for the remaining lessons and told me it was exceptional. But I didn't want the voucher; I wanted a refund. I'm very disappointed with the whole approach.
